Easy to test and operate.
With the multifunctional PV power analyzer SMFT-1000, you always know whether PV systems are working correctly and delivering optimum power. Whether you are commissioning a system, maintaining an existing system or installing a completely new one. The complete solution from FLUKE is prepared for all requirements. The high-contrast color screen enables the simplest of tests and the intuitive user interface helps you to carry them out. When you switch to automatic test mode, the SMFT-1000 allows you to perform a variety of combinations to automatically run a test sequence. For example:
- With or without insulation test
- Test according to IEC 62446-1 for category 1 or category 1 and 2
- Testing in accordance with IEC 62446-1 for protection class I or protection class II
Intelligent functions for a better test procedure.
You don't want to be constantly changing configurations while you are carrying out tests. This is tedious, annoying and increases the workload. That's why the SMFT-1000 has the “Keep the Leads” function, which allows you to waste less time on set-up and reduce errors at the same time. Perform more testing in less time. Because we all know: Time is money.
As you collect your measurement data on site, the SMFT-1000 automatically compares the I-V curves with the module specifications provided by the manufacturer. This allows you to instantly confirm measurements without an external device or laptop, or to ensure that systems are operating according to their site specifications, or to check whether individual modules or module strings are performing as expected.
Extensive accessories make your work easier.
In addition to the SMFT-1000 analyzer, a PV expert needs other tools for successful testing. The SMFT-1000/KIT and SMFT-1000/Pro sets therefore offer a comprehensive scope of delivery with cables, adapters, test lead sets and more to prepare the user for all eventualities. Safely transported in the SMFT-1000-BP professional tool backpack, which is of course also included in the set. Also included:
IRR2-BT irradiance meter.
Precise I-V curve measurements require real-time irradiance and temperature data. The IRR2-BT irradiance meter connects wirelessly to the SMFT-1000 to transmit data in real time for the most accurate I-V curve measurements. If the wireless connection is interrupted for any reason, the IRR2-BT will continue to record data for up to 17 hours, which can later be compared with measurements taken on the SMFT-1000.
In addition, the integrated compass and tilt sensor enable quick measurement and documentation of the alignment of the roof or installation site as well as the slope and module inclination during the measurement, installation or adjustment of a system.
DC/AC current clamp i100.
The Fluke i100 AC/DC Solar Current Clamp is highly reliable, measuring 1 A to 100 A and providing accurate current measurements without breaking the circuit. The clamp measures both AC and DC current with a large jaw, battery-operated Hall-effect probe that allows access to hard-to-reach areas.
Of course, the SMFT-1000 is also compatible with other Fluke test and measurement tools, making it an integral part of your overall PV system testing solution.
TruTest software for convenient data management.
With the reliable TruTest software platform, you can simplify the reporting required to complete projects. With TruTest, you can bundle all your certification and documentation requirements, inventory management, data storage and reporting - all on a single platform.
Easily import test results from your SMFT-1000 directly into the software. Compare data on individual installations with previously imported measurements and create comprehensive reports for your customers. Data management has never been easier.
The FLK-TRUTEST-LITE and FLK-TRUTEST-ADV software differ mainly in their range of functions and usage limits. FLK-TRUTEST-LITE supports up to 2 customers, 5 locations per customer and 1,000 devices per customer, while FLK-TRUTEST-ADV allows an unlimited number of customers, locations and devices. In addition, the ADV version offers advanced features such as creating and editing customized test sequences as well as comprehensive data management and reporting functions. In contrast, the LITE version only offers basic functions for editing customer, location and device information.
- Simple management of measurement data from the installation and commissioning test of solar systems
- Rapid creation of inspections and reports in accordance with IEC 62446-1 and other guidelines
- I-V curve analysis with simple pass/fail display; comparison of I-V curves for multiple site visits
- Compare current and previous location data to see changes over time
