The Fluke 283FC is a state-of-the-art digital multimeter designed specifically for use in the solar industry. With its innovative functions and robust design, it offers maximum safety and efficiency for installers and technicians working on DC systems with up to 1500 V. The multimeter is suitable for large photovoltaic systems as well as wind turbines, electric railroads and data centers. It enables precise, repeatable and reliable measurements and increases user productivity.

Technical specifications

The Fluke 283FC offers comprehensive safety features that meet the requirements of the solar industry. It complies with CAT III 1500 V and CAT IV 1000 V standards, providing a high level of safety for use in high-voltage environments. The device enables voltage measurements up to 1500 V DC and delivers accurate, reliable results, even in difficult working conditions.

Another highlight of the multimeter is the ability to measure voltage and current simultaneously in order to calculate the DC power directly. The large, backlit LCD screen enables clear readability even in direct sunlight or poor lighting conditions. In addition, the device is protected against dust and splash water in accordance with protection class IP 52, making it ideal for outdoor use.

The Fluke 283FC is also available as a set including the A283 FC wireless current clamp (item no.: Fluke-283FC/PV). This allows you to measure currents wirelessly, which further increases the flexibility of the device. The multimeter set also comes with other high-quality accessories, including the Staubli MC4 test leads and TL175-HV silicone test leads, which ensure safe connections and measurements up to 1500 V DC.
