The EA-PU 10000 series from EA Elektro-Automatik represents a state-of-the-art programmable DC power supply designed specifically for demanding industrial and research applications with its combination of high performance, flexible customization and extensive protection features. With an impressive power capacity of up to 30 kW for the 4U models and 60 kW for the 6U models, this series offers a flexible and reliable solution for a wide range of applications.
Input range and efficiency:
The wide input range of 380 V to 480 V (+10%, 3ph AC) enables worldwide use without additional adjustments.
The active power factor correction (typically 0.99) ensures low energy consumption and a very high efficiency of up to 96%.
Performance and flexibility:
With voltage ranges from 0 - 60 V to 0 - 2.000 V (6U models 360 V - 2,000 V) and current ranges from 0 - 40 A to 0 - 1,000 A (6U models 80 A - 480 A), the series covers a wide range of applications.
The flexible autoranging allows constant power output over a wide voltage and current range.
Control modes and control:
The devices offer multiple control modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) with fast transition times, which enables precise control and adaptation to different load requirements.
The digital control with 16-bit ADCs and DACs offers high resolution and accuracy in voltage regulation.
Parallel connection and scalability:
The galvanically isolated share bus enables parallel operation of all power classes of the 10000 series.
The master-slave bus allows the creation of systems with up to 64 devices of the series.
Interfaces and communication:
Integrated interfaces: USB, Ethernet, analog interface, master-slave bus and share bus.
Optional interfaces: CAN, CANopen, RS232, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet and Modbus, each with one or two ports.
