EL9360-40BHP2U | Electronic load 19 inch, TFT, 2U 360V / 40A 1800W, analog, USB

The electronic DC loads of the EA-EL9000BHP2U series reduce the required installation height to 2U. The "HP" in the name of the series stands for "High Power". It defines the specified continuous power at an ambient temperature of 30 ° C compared to other electronic loads. The device series supports the four typical control types: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR). In addition, the FPGA-based control unit offers a number of interesting features, such as a function generator with a table function for simulating non-linear internal resistances.

The large, colored TFT touch panel offers an intuitive type of manual operation, as is known from cell phones or tablets. Response times for control via analog or digital interfaces have been significantly improved by FPGA-controlled hardware. When several devices are connected in parallel, a master-slave bus is used to connect the units to an overall system that adds up the actual values and distributes the setpoints evenly.

Function generator and table control A special feature is the comfortable, FPGA-based digital function and arbitrary generator, which enables the control of time-running, freely programmable load profiles. Alternating sine and rectangular functions or sawtooth or ramp profiles can be generated. With a freely programmable digital value table with 3276 effective bases embedded in the control loop, nonlinear internal resistances of consumers, such as batteries or LED chains, can be simulated as required.
