Can be ordered separately and subsequently and easily installed by the user on site. A 1.8 m USB cable is included.
USB interface: The USB connection is used for communication with the device and for firmware updates. The device can be connected to a PC via the USB cable belonging to the interface (USB 2.0, USB 3.0). The driver is supplied on a USB stick and installs a virtual COM port. Details on remote control can be found in further documentation on the Elektro-Automatik website or on the USB stick.
The device can be addressed via this port either via the internationally standardized ModBus RTU protocol or via SCPI language. It automatically detects the protocol used in a message. If remote control is to be activated, the USB interface has no priority over another digital or analog one and can therefore only be used alternately. However, monitoring is always possible.
Analog interface : This 15-pin Sub-D socket is used for remote control of the device using analog signals or switching states. If remote control is to be used, this analog interface can only be used alternately with the digital one. However, monitoring is possible at any time.
The input voltage range of the setpoints or the output voltage range of the monitor values and the reference voltage can be switched between 0 ... 5 V and 0 ... 10 V for 0 ... 100% each in the settings menu of the device.
