The bidirectional DC laboratory power supplies of the EA Elektro-Automatik PSBE 10000 series are two-quadrant power supply units that can take on the function of both a power supply and an electronic load. In load operation, the DC power supplies work regeneratively and feed the energy back into the local power grid with an efficiency of over 96%. This efficient energy recovery reduces your costs.
The DC power supplies act as a flexible output stage with a constant power characteristic, known as autoranging, as well as a wide voltage, current and power range. All devices have a master-slave bus to realize higher power and currents. With 64 devices connected in parallel, this enables a system to be set up that provides up to 1920 kW and 64,000 A.
The PSBE 10000 series power supply units are particularly suitable for automated applications and remote control. If you are looking for a powerful, bidirectional power supply unit for development, we recommend the power supply units of the more comprehensive PSB 10000 series.
The PSBE10360-2403U variant of the EA PSBE10000 series presented here measures 3 U (3 U) and has 1 channel, 360 V / +/-240 A / 30 kW.
