Bidirectional laboratory power supplies of the PSB9000 series with mains recovery (DC power supply and an electronic load with mains recovery in one device). With the PSB9000 series, EA Elektro-Automatik has developed a power supply that combines a DC power supply and an electronic load with mains recovery in a single device. This reduces both the energy and acquisition costs for the conventional or regenerative loads otherwise required.

As a power supply, the bidirectional power supply can charge and discharge batteries, fuel cells and other energy storage devices. As a result, the device has integrated functions such as a battery test mode, an arbitrary generator and a vehicle starting curve. In addition, the PSB 9000 can be used to absorb the energy generated in test processes in a low-loss and environmentally friendly manner and feed it back into the three-phase mains.
