This bench-top laboratory power supply of the PSI5000A series has a powerful microcontroller control unit with a resolution of 16 bits and has a flexible, power- controlled output stage that reduces the current at high output voltage or the voltage at high output current so that the maximum output power is not exceeded . The power setpoint is adjustable. A wide range of applications can be covered with just one device, and a 4-digit segment display serves as the display. For remote control, this power supply is equipped with an analog (0-10 V), USB and Ethernet interface as standard.

The integrated monitoring functions for all output parameters simplify a test setup and often make external monitoring measures unnecessary. This laboratory power supply provides an extremely stable output with very little ripple or noise, is very dynamic in regulation and therefore an extremely efficient test equipment for research and development as well as for automated light or low load applications.
