Bidirectional laboratory power supplies of the PSB9000 series with mains feedback (DC power supply and an electronic load with mains feedback in one device). With the PSB9000 series, EA Elektro-Automatik has developed a power supply that combines a DC power supply and an electronic load with mains feedback in one device. This reduces both the energy and the acquisition costs for the conventional or mains-feeding loads that would otherwise be necessary.

As a power supply, the bidirectional power supply can charge and discharge batteries, fuel cells and other energy storage devices. Consequently, the device has integrated functions such as a battery test mode, an arbitrary generator and a vehicle start-up curve. In addition, the PSB 9000 can be used to absorb the energy generated in testing processes with minimal loss and in an environmentally friendly way and feed it back into the three-phase network.
