This ITC certification course is based on the required training content for thermographers of ISO 18434, ISO 18436 and the ASNT guideline SNT-TC-1A. It has been conducted by the ITC since 2000 in 50 countries and in 20 languages.
The participants deal with various areas of infrared thermography in order to deepen and expand their knowledge of the physical aspects of infrared radiation and thermal processes as well as infrared measurement technology and its applications. Category 2 thermographers assist other employees (Category 1) with equipment selection, procedures, limitations, data analysis, corrective actions and report preparation.

Prerequisites:
- Valid category 1 thermography certificate
- IR camera (all manufacturers), if necessary. Loan camera possible
