With the powerful AC source 61507 from Chroma, you can simulate the realistic conditions of an AC power supply by means of programmable output powers and also take into account grid disturbances such as voltage fluctuations or pulse peaks. An optimal test environment with defined test parameters enables you to precisely characterize your electronic components and power electronics.

With the 61500 series AC power supply units, you can simulate a wide range of grid faults to check the immunity of your DUT and to perform EMC compliance and pre-compliance tests in DIN EN 61000. STEP and PULSE modes simplify the step-by-step or continuous change of the output parameters, e.g. B. to simulate power failures, transient overvoltages or voltage sinks. Such changes can be triggered by either internal or external events. With the LIST mode, even more complex wave functions can be generated from up to 100 sequences with different start-stop conditions.

The AC power supply 61507 can generate single and three-phase output parameters and meets the latest test requirements in industry and trade - for demanding laboratory tests in design development or in quality assurance through to applications in mass production.

  • State-of-the-art PWM technology (pulse width modulation): for an output power of up to 3 kVA as well as 350 V and 15 to 2000 Hz; the output power can be doubled by connecting two devices in parallel
  • Extensive measurement applications: for the efficient determination of RMS voltage, RMS current, peak current, inrush current, apparent power, reactive power, power factor, crest factor, THD etc.
  • Intelligent network interference simulation: efficient immunity tests using list, pulse and step modes for transient output voltages
  • Integrated function for signal generation: fulfills current EMC test requirements acc. DIN EN 61000 by simulating abnormal voltage conditions using 30 pre-programmed, distorted signal forms as well as harmonic and interharmonic functions; for the detection of resonances and design errors
  • Optimal ease of use: Chroma Softpanel user interface with intuitive graphics for simple and convenient device control via PC; facilitates the efficient use of all available device functions for optimal test conditions
