The CA 773 voltage tester is an indispensable tool for the electrician to check that a circuit, device or system connected to the mains is voltage-free before any intervention.
The tester complies with IEC standard 61243-3, edition 2 and is approved for all systems up to 1000 V CAT IV, indoors and outdoors.
To meet the different regulations of some countries, the voltage tester is available in two versions: with or without specially protected test probes IP2X.
In addition to the LEDs, the CA 773 has an illuminated digital display in which the measured values are displayed.
It is also equipped with a redundant safety system: the »ELV« LED warning light flashes as soon as the applied voltage exceeds 50 VAC / 120 VDC.
The integrated self-test in the CA 773 monitors the proper functioning of the electrical circuits, the power supply, the displays and the test leads.
The device is practical, simple and quick to use, and the phase sequence direction is checked by a microprocessor on just two conductors.
The testing of the tripping threshold of RCDs (RCD) is additionally secured by two-hand operation.
The continuity test with visual and acoustic display complies with the recommendations of Appendix B of the standard. The detection of phantom voltages and the single-pole phase display are also available.
The test probes and test leads are removable. The CA 753 socket adapter is available as an option, which considerably simplifies the control of 2P + E European sockets and Schuko sockets.
