The voltage tester (VAT) CA 762 is an indispensable aid for every electrician to check the absence of voltage before any intervention in an electrical system connected to the mains. It complies with the IEC 61243-3 Edition 2 standard and can therefore be used with all outdoor and indoor systems in the 600 V CAT IV category. In order to meet certain standards and regulations applicable in some countries, there are two order numbers - with and without IP2X accessories. With the ELV LED, which flashes as soon as a voltage of more than 50 VAC or 120 VDC is applied, the CA 762 has a redundant safety system.
During the comprehensive self-test of the CA 762, the electrical circuits, the power supply, the displays and the perfect condition of the test leads are checked. The test probe and the lines are removable. With the optional CA 753 adapter, tests on safety socket outlets can be carried out quickly and easily.
