The CA 6474 supplements the CA 6472 earth and resistance meter for measurements on high-voltage pylons.

The following measurements can be made with the CA 6474 in conjunction with the CA 6472:

  • Total earthing resistance of the pylons
  • Earthing resistance of the individual mast feet
  • total impedance of the line
  • Connection quality of the ground wire
  • Active measurement (current via CA 6472)
  • Passive measurement (use of noise voltages)
