The Chauvin Arnoux MiniFlex MA130 is a particularly light and flexible current transformer for three-phase networks. The flexible current measuring loops can also be attached to the narrowest places, for example in distribution cabinets or switch boxes. The current transformer can be connected to the AC voltage input (mVAC / VAC) of power analyzers, recorders or other AC measuring devices.
The MA 130 current probe uses Rogowski coils. As a result, a magnetic circuit is no longer required, and saturation or overheating effects do not occur. Furthermore, this technology guarantees excellent linearity and only minimal phase shifts.
The three-phase current sensor has a measuring range from 0.5 to 3,000 amperes in 3 measuring ranges. The current transformer has an automatic switch-off that can be deactivated for long measurements. The MA130 is characterized by its long battery life of up to 500 hours. The measuring device can be powered by batteries as well as by an external power supply with micro USB connection. The device status is clearly indicated by three bright LEDs: green for the power supply, yellow for the automatic switch-off, red for exceeding the measuring range.
Due to the high flexibility and the wide-ranging measuring ranges, the Chauvin Arnoux current transformer is suitable for many areas: maintenance, testing and repair services in industry or power generation, in transport, in research and development as well as testing laboratories.
