The HVL series from B&K Precision consists of state-of-the-art DC electronic loads characterized by high power density and a variety of operating modes. With a maximum output of up to 6 kW and voltages of up to 1000 V, this series is ideal for demanding test environments. The devices are optimized for use in automated test systems (ATE) and support various dynamic load conditions for evaluating DC-DC converters, batteries, chargers, photovoltaic systems and other high-power DC sources.

Typical areas of application:

  • Testing high-voltage batteries, especially for electric vehicles (EV)
  • Testing of on-board chargers and charging stations
  • Simulation and analysis of grid and load conditions
  • Testing of DC power supplies and converters
  • Testing of solar and fuel cells

The HVL600150 model offers a maximum input voltage of 600 V and a maximum current of 150 A, with a total power consumption of up to 3 kW. It combines a compact design with high performance and is particularly suitable for testing high-voltage sources with medium current requirements.

Differences to other variants in the HVL series:

  • The HVL600150 model offers 600 V / 150 A with a maximum power of 3 kW.
  • The HVL80075 model supports 800 V / 75 A with the same power.
  • The HVL100025 model offers 1000 V / 25 A with 3 kW power.
  • The HVL600300, HVL800150 and HVL100050 models deliver a higher power of 6 kW.
  • All models are suitable for parallel operation of up to 10 devices to increase the total output.
