The HVL series from B&K Precision comprises powerful high-voltage DC electronic loads that have been specially developed for demanding test environments. With a maximum power of up to 6 kW and operating voltages of up to 1000 V, this series offers high flexibility for a wide range of applications. With support for multiple operating modes, including CC (constant current), CV (constant voltage), CR (constant resistance) and CW (constant power), the HVL series is ideal for complex test requirements.

Typical areas of application:

  • Testing high-voltage batteries, especially for electric vehicles (EV)
  • Testing of on-board chargers and charging stations
  • Evaluation of DC-DC-converters and high-power power supplies
  • Testing of photovoltaic systems and fuel cell systems
  • Simulation of dynamic load conditions in research and development

The HVL100025 model is a high-voltage capable electronic load with a maximum input voltage of 1000 V and a maximum current of 25 A. It offers a maximum power consumption of 3 kW and is particularly suitable for applications that require very high voltages at moderate currents.

Differences to other variants in the HVL series:

  • The HVL100025 model offers 1000 V / 25 A with a maximum power of 3 kW.
  • The HVL600150 model offers 600 V / 150 A with the same power.
  • The HVL80075 model supports 800 V / 75 A with 3 kW power.
  • The more powerful variants HVL600300, HVL800150 and HVL100050 offer up to 6 kW of power.
  • All models can be configured for parallel operation of up to 10 units to achieve a total output of up to 60 kW.
