The 8625 is the top model in the 8600/B series and combines extreme performance with maximum flexibility. It offers an enormous load capacity of up to 720 A with an input voltage of up to 120 V and a total output of 6000 W. This makes it ideal for tests on large battery systems, DC fast chargers, power converters or high-current supplies in the industrial and automotive sectors.
The device supports all standard modes (CC, CV, CR, CW), has battery test and CR LED modes as well as advanced protection functions. It is controlled via USB or RS232, and the solid 6U housing with efficient cooling system ensures stability even during continuous operation under full load.
With its maximum output of 6000 W and a current range of up to 720 A, the 8625 is the most powerful model in the entire 8600/B series. It therefore clearly outperforms the 8624 (4500 W, 600 A) and all smaller models. The 8625 is aimed at professional users who place the highest demands on current carrying capacity and long-term stability. Despite its enormous power, it remains at 120 V voltage, meaning that models such as 8622 (500 V, 100 A) are preferable for applications with higher voltage requirements.
