The 8622 is the ideal solution for high-voltage and high-current applications. It combines a maximum input voltage of 500 V with a current consumption of up to 100 A and delivers a total output of 2500 W. This electronic load is perfect for testing solar strings, industrial battery modules, e-mobility systems and powerful DC converters.
All functions of the 8600/B series are included, including battery test, CR-LED mode, transient and list mode as well as comprehensive protection mechanisms. Operation is via the clearly laid out front panel or by remote control via USB and RS232. The robust 3U design ensures reliable continuous operation at full load.
The 8622 offers the same form factor as the 8620, but a significantly extended voltage range of up to 500 V. This makes it the preferred choice for high-voltage applications where high currents (up to 100 A) are still required. Compared to models such as the 8612 (also 500 V, but only 30 A), the 8622 represents a significant increase in performance. For pure high-current applications at lower voltages (e.g. 480 A with 8620), however, the 8620 remains superior.
