The 4063B is a versatile, two-channel function and arbitrary waveform generator from B&K Precision's 4060B series. Thanks to its combination of DDS and true point-by-point arbitrary waveform technology, it offers excellent signal quality with low jitter and high waveform fidelity. The device is ideal for development and test environments in the fields of electronics, communications, measurement technology and education.
With a maximum sine frequency of 80 MHz, the 4063B is ideal for applications that go beyond the typical laboratory range. A wide range of functions such as harmonic generation, modulation types (e.g. AM, FM, PM, FSK, PWM), burst and sweep operation as well as a precise frequency counter make it a powerful tool for demanding tasks.
Operation is convenient via a high-resolution touch display. In addition, numerous inputs and outputs (USB, LAN, optional GPIB) and supplied software ensure simple integration and automation in modern measurement systems.
The 4063B occupies the middle position within the 4060B series. Compared to the 4062B, it offers a doubled maximum Sine frequency of 80 MHz (instead of 40 MHz) and is therefore suitable for applications with higher frequency requirements - for example in RF development or signal processing.
Compared to the 4064B, which offers the highest performance at up to 120 MHz, the 4063B represents an ideal balance between performance and price/performance ratio. All models share the same range of functions, user interface and connectivity - the main difference is the maximum output frequency.
