The 4053B function/arbitrary waveform generator is a high-precision measuring instrument with two independent channels. It offers a comprehensive selection of modulation types, extensive memory functions and easy operation via a large 4.3-inch color display with intuitive keypad. With high signal quality, flexible trigger and sweep modes and an integrated frequency counter, the device is ideal for applications in research, development, training, production and quality assurance.
Thanks to 196 pre-installed arbitrary waveforms, a powerful arbitrary waveform generator with up to 150 MSa/s and versatile coupling, tracking and synchronization functions, the 4053B is particularly suitable for complex test setups or simulating real signal characteristics.
Within the 4050B series, the 4053B represents the entry-level version and offers a maximum frequency range of 10 MHz for sine and square wave signals. The 4054B and 4055B models extend this range to 30 MHz and 60 MHz respectively and are therefore more suitable for applications with higher frequency requirements. However, all three models have identical functionality in terms of arbitrary waveform generation, modulation types, memory capacity and user interface. For users with standard frequency requirements, the 4053B is a cost-effective and powerful solution - without sacrificing professional features.
