CM82-NIST | Current clamp multimeter, digital, 4-digit, TRMS, AC/DC, 600/600A, with NIST

FLIR CM82 | True RMS clamp meter (current clamp with integrated multimeter) for 600 A, with traceable NIST calibration certificate.

Industrial-grade clamp meter with extensive current analysis functions and filtering for inverter-controlled drives.

The industrial-grade FLIR CM82 current clamp is specially designed for complex fault diagnosis with high-quality current analysis functions. These include harmonic mode to find noise from different electrical sources, rotating field mode to check the phase sequence of three-phase systems for easier diagnosis of motors and installations and starting current mode to detect transients caused by switching on processes. The FLIR CM82 is also equipped with filtering for inverter-controlled drives for the analysis of non-sinusoidal waveforms and noisy signals in variable speed drives. This simplifies the localization of electrical problems in complex industrial and commercial systems.

  • In VFD mode, the variable signal frequency is processed accordingly by filters and the exact frequency and voltage values are measured. This is important for service and repair work.
