The Schwarzbeck BBV 9744 B is a compact and powerful broadband preamplifier that covers frequencies from 9 kHz to 8 GHz. With a high gain of up to 29 dB and low self-noise (< 2.7 dB), it is particularly suitable for applications that require high signal sensitivity, such as measurements with low limit values.
The robust aluminum housing and compact dimensions make the amplifier versatile, while the ESD-protected input stage protects sensitive components from damage caused by electrostatic discharges. To ensure longevity, coaxial cables should be discharged before connection. The built-in voltage regulator ensures a stable power supply that can be operated with 12 volt power supply units or batteries.
Despite its advantages, the BBV 9744 B is not suitable for measurements with broadband interference or pulsed signals, such as those found in EMC measurement technology. Compared to previous models, the frequency range has been extended, the protection of the input stage improved and the design made more compact and lighter.
The BBV 9744 B is ideal for precise high-frequency measurements where sensitivity and signal quality are paramount.
