The cDAQ ‑ 9178 is a CompactDAQ USB chassis that is suitable for compact, portable sensor measurement systems. The chassis offers easy handling of the plug-and-play connection of USB for sensors and electrical measurements. It also controls timing, synchronization, and data transfer between C-Series I / O modules and an external host computer. The chassis can be combined with various I / O modules of the C-series to perform different analog and digital I / O as well as counter / timer measurements. The cDAQ ‑ 9178 has four universal 32 ‑ bit counters / timers. The counter and the provision of clocks or triggers are accessed via two integrated BNC connections.
