The PCIe-8430/16 module is a powerful interface for high-speed communication with RS-232 devices. The module provides data transfers over the high-speed DMA interface, multithreading and multiprocessor support. The NI serial ports appear as standard COM ports for compatibility with programs that use serial communication.
