The PCI-6512 module is an industrial-grade digital output interface with eight banks of isolated channels. With the help of programmable switch-on states, users can configure digital I/O states on the software side to ensure safe operation when industrial actuators are connected. In the event of a computer or application error, digital I/O watchdogs on the PCI-6512 transition to a configurable safe output state to detect malfunctions and enable safe system recovery. Programmable input filters are used to remove interference pulses and signal peaks as well as to debounce digital switches and relays using software-adjustable digital filters.
