The RF4-E set contains two passive E-field probes for comparative measurement of electric fields in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz.
The probes are used to analyze the E-field distribution, to detect coupling mechanisms on assemblies and to evaluate switching edges on signal lines and RF current voltages of the supply system.
The near-field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. The near-field probes are connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. The probes do not have an internal 50 Ω terminating resistor.
