The RF-B 0.3-3 H-field probe is used for the extremely small-scale detection of magnetic field lines entering the probe tip orthogonally. The coil in the probe head is arranged orthogonally to the probe shaft. It can be placed directly on the measurement object for measurement.
The RF-B 0.3-3 is a passive near-field probe. The probe head is constructed in the same way as the RF-B 3-2. Field lines from other sources that enter the probe tip from the side are not detected by the probe. Due to the small design of the probe head, measurements in hard-to-reach places, e.g. between components, are very well possible. The near-field probe is small and easy to handle. It has a sheath current attenuation and is electrically shielded. The near-field probe is connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. The H-field probe does not have an internal 50 Ω terminating resistor.
