Description
PPX-2002GP | Power supply unit, DC, 1 channel, linear 20 V / 2 A, 40 W, USB, LAN, GPIB, analog
Please Note: This device is currently delivered without GPIB interface.
The programmable, high-precision DC power supply units of the GW Instek PPX series comprise six models. In addition to the PPX-2002GP variant presented here with 20 V / 2 A / 40 W, including a GPIB interface option , the power supply units are also available in the PPX-1005GP (10 V / 5 A / 50 W), PPX-2005GP ( 20 V / 5 A / 100 W), PPX-3601GP (36 V / 1 A / 36 W); PPX-3603GP (36 V / 3 A / 108 W) and PPX-10H01GP (100 V / 1 A / 100 W) as well as alternatively without GPIB interface (models: PPX-1005, PPX-2002, PPX-2005, PPX- 3601, PPX-3603, PPX-10H01).
The supported communication interfaces of the PPX GP models include USB, LAN, RS-232, RS-485 and GPIB
The PPX series is characterized by low output noise (0.35mVeff) and fast transient response (<50μs) , comparable to conventional linear power supplies. It also offers output modes with constant voltage and constant current priority. The rise / fall rates of voltage and current as well as the delay time for switching the output on and off can be set separately.
The power supply units have four current and two voltage levels and thus enable high-precision measurements.
You can use the data logger function to save the measurement protocols for long-term measurement and recording of IoT devices, portable devices, wearables and sensor components.
In order to meet the requirements for the power supply of portable devices and wearables , the PPX series has current resolutions of 0.1 μA, 1 μA, 10 μA, 0.1 mA and voltage resolutions of 0.1 mV and 1 mV . Even in idle / standby mode, the PPX series continues to measure even the smallest current changes in the DUT.
The PPX series offers the function »test sequence« , with which you can define any output signal shape. The voltage rise or fall time and the voltage hold time of each step can be set. The parameters can be edited both directly via the front panel and via a remote connection. In addition, the OCP delay function allows you to flexibly set the time for activating the overcurrent protection according to the properties of the device under test. In this way you protect the device under test and at the same time check the current change of the DUT within a certain period of time.
In addition to voltage, current and power measurement, the PPX series also supports temperature measurement . In connection with a type K thermocouple, the temperature range from -200 ° C to + 1,372 ° C can be measured.
