The electronic AC / DC loads of the GW Instek AEL-5000 series includes 20 models. The power range for each model extends from 1,875 W to 22,500 W. Up to 8 loads can be switched in parallel. The maximum power of the single-phase parallel connection can reach 180 kW, the total output of the 3-phase parallel connection can reach 540 kW - ideal for UPS, inverter / breaker, AC power source, battery, fuse / breaker, DC power source and other applications.
The AEL-5000 series has built-in precision measurement circuits such as 16-bit A / D and DSP. Get accurate readings - Vrms, Arms, Watts, VA, Crest Factor (CF), Power Factor (PF), Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), Total Harmonic Distortion of Voltage (VTHD), Total Harmonic Distortion of Current (ITHD), Peak Current (Ipeak), Maximum Current ( Amax), minimum current (Amin), maximum voltage (Vmax), minimum voltage (Vmin) and time measurement.
The integrated test modes include UPS efficiency, PV inverter efficiency, UPS backup time, battery discharge time, UPS transmission time, triggering / non-triggering of fuses / circuit breakers, simulation of short circuits, OCP, OPP and other test modes.
For test applications that require high power and large current transients, such as B. transient overload test of protection components or short circuit of fuse / circuit breaker and AC power supply, OCP or OPP tests, the AEL-5000 series has a turbo mode (ON or OFF selectable), the current and the power of the electronic Load can increase twice as much in one second.
The AEL-5000 series supports the Load On start function. If an inverter or the uninterruptible power supply is switched on, the series charges the set load current directly.
Using the adjustable bandwidth function (BW), you can adapt the bandwidth of the AEL-5000 loads exactly to the bandwidth of the device under test. Inrush Current checks whether the transient behavior of the output voltage of the converter when the electrical device is switched on (inrush current) and when the electrical device is suddenly switched on (surge current) is stable.
The entire GW Instek load series AEL-5000 offers overvoltage warning, overcurrent, overpower and overtemperature protection. The analog input terminal can control constant current, constant power and other working modes by external voltage. The Vmonitor / Imonitor terminal is used to connect an external voltage / current monitoring device. In addition, a variety of optional control interfaces such as GPIB, RS-232, USB and LAN are available to meet system integration requirements.
