The MGR10 micro-ohm meter works in four-wire mode (Kelvin measurement method). This technology provides a very stable constant current on 2 conductors and taps the measured voltage on 2 other conductors. In this way, the resistance of the contacts and the measuring cables can be eliminated.
In addition, the MGR10 comes with temperature compensation, which determines the resistance value for 20 °C. With materials such as copper or aluminum, the resistance depends on the room temperature, so a deviation of 10 °C leads to a measurement error of 4 %.
