The Chroma 52314E-7-1 is a programmable PXI-Express DPS (Device Power Supply) module designed to provide high accuracy and reliable output power for device test applications. The compact size, simple integration level and high flexibility make the 52314E-7-1 series ideal for multi-channel power supplies.
The card has 4 output channels of ±7V, pulse 1A (max.) as well as 8 selectable control bandwidths and master/slave operation. Multiple current measurement ranges with 16-bit DAC and 20-bit ADC provide the highest resolution and accuracy with a sampling rate of up to 600K S/second. It offers a programmable internal series resistance for battery simulations.
The patented hardware sequencer features deterministic timing for each DPS channel. The sequencer's memory can store up to 1024 sequencer commands and 32k measurement samples per channel. Each 52314E-7-1 DPS card can be configured to share loads by connecting channels in parallel. This allows you to achieve higher output currents on the same card.
The Chroma 52314E-7-1 series offers versatile soft front panels and C/C#/LabVIEW/LabWindows APIs for rapid test development and delivery. The back connector is compatible with both PXIe and hybrid chassis slots. All of these features enable easy integration into PXIe or PXI hybrid systems designed for a variety of test applications requiring precise output voltage/current and tightly coupled measurement capabilities.
