The Weller WHA3000VS hot air set is ideal for demanding repairs on circuit boards with multi-pole FINEPITCH components. The core element of this repair set is the successful Weller hot air station WHA 3000V. This well thought-out BGA / QFP repair station combines the highest process reliability, user-friendly operability and technically mature detailed solutions.
The hot air repair system works with an external compressed air supply, optionally also shielding gas (nitrogen N2). The air volume can be regulated from 5… 50 l / min. The hot air temperature of the handpiece can be set from 50… 550 ° C. The temperature and air volume can be regulated digitally.
The vacuum required to lift the component is integrated in the nozzle system.
The hot air station offers a manual and an automatic operating mode. Manual operation enables hand-held work with a set temperature and air volume. Hot air and vacuum can be activated with a foot switch, on the control panel or directly on the control unit. The automatic operation allows a 3-stage temperature-time profile to run. The infrared preheating plate WHP 3000 can be integrated into this program. The parameters for hot air temperature, air volume, temperature of the underheating and vacuum function can be set individually. These can be saved as a parameter set for the respective application.
The set contains the WHP3000 infrared preheating plate. The 600 W heating plate has 3 high-temperature heaters and 2 selectable heating zones. The underheater is connected to the hot air system via an RS232 interface.
A WBHS circuit board holder is also included in the repair station set. This stabilizes the circuit board in the xy orientation. The integrated stand guides the hot air handpiece in the z-axis direction.
Benefit from this professional repair station at an affordable special price and set up a perfectly coordinated BGA / QFP repair system.
