PVDC8300 | Network simulation, PV, 1,500 V, 50 A, common mode impedance 150 Ohm, differential mode impedance 100 Ohm

The Schwarzbeck PVDC 8300 is a symmetrical DC network (LISN) that was specially developed for measuring interference voltages in the frequency range from 0.15 MHz to 30 MHz on photovoltaic inverters. This device makes it possible to measure interference voltages on both the direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) sides of solar inverter systems. The PVDC 8300 is therefore an essential tool for EMC testing of photovoltaic systems.

Some specific features of the PVDC 8300 include:

  • A frequency range of 0.15 MHz to 30 MHz.
  • A maximum continuous operating current capacity of 100 A, with a short-term load capacity of up to 150 A for 15 minutes.
  • A maximum direct current (DC) voltage of up to 1500 V.
  • The network simulation offers different impedance modes for common mode and differential interference.
  • The PVDC 8300 is also able to measure high frequency current waves caused by the circuit designs of PV inverters can.

These special measurement capabilities make the PVDC 8300 a valuable tool for the development and testing of photovoltaic inverters by enabling a comprehensive analysis of electromagnetic compatibility. The device provides detailed insights into the immunity and emission of photovoltaic systems and helps developers and engineers ensure compliance with international EMC standards.
