P2124A | GaN probe, high speed line modulator, water-cooled

The Picotest P2124A is a gallium nitride (GaN) based probe. The semiconductor material GaN is characterized by high performance, high frequency and high temperature resistance.

The probe is used for PSRR/PSMR/PSNR and other noise immunity tests. It combines the power rail supply voltage with a modulation signal for a DUT that is tested for noise immunity (PSNR) with input stimulus and power. The modulation signal can be any 50 ohm analog signal within the bandwidth limits of the probe.

To enable the high performance and speed of the probe, it is equipped with a water cooling system that regulates the temperature of the GaN element. The water cooling consists of a cooling unit, a cable and a power pack.

The probe can be used for various applications, such as optical transceiver testing, that require fast and precise modulation of a high-voltage signal. The probe can be used to verify compliance with OEM requirements. A remote-controlled measurement module supports the optimal voltage conformity of the test object.
