Description

779933-01 | PCIe-8382, MXI-Express X8 Gen 2 for PXI Express

The NI (National Instruments) PCIe-8382 module is an MXI-Express remote controller that can be used to remotely control devices or systems from a computer with a PCI-Express slot via a wired PCI connection. The remote controller connects via a PCIe x8 interface via copper cables to the PXIe-8381 module for remote control of the PXI system. The connection is transparent to software applications and drivers, allowing you to use standard desktop computers and servers to control connected devices without additional programming. The PCIe-8382 allows compatible PXI modules to be used as if they were PCI devices installed directly in the computer.
