H3SET | Field source set / magnetic field sources for interference immunity analysis

The field sources of the Langer H3 set are used for interference immunity analysis of assemblies and devices. They couple pulsed fields (IEC 61000-4-4) into the test object. For analysis, they are guided by hand close to the test item. The weak point reacts to the pulse field and functional errors are triggered.

An EFT/Burst Generator feeds the field sources via a high-voltage cable. The field sources have an SMB output.

The connection cable for the field sources is available with an SHV connector (HV SHV-SMB 1 m) or with a Fischer connector (HV FI-SMB 1 m; Fischer connector S103A023).

Different types of field source heads are available for different measurement tasks. These enable weak points to be pinpointed with millimeter precision or critical connections and connections such as components, conductor tracks or IC pins to be located on the specified interference path.
