The HT Instruments NEPTUNE is a technology mix of an instrument for electrical safety tests (insulation up to 1000 V and low resistance measurement with 200 mA), one for harmonics and a TRMS multimeter.

Product features:

  • Insulation measurement with 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000VDC. (VDE 0413 Part 2)
  • Low-impedance measurement with >200mA. (VDE 0413 Part 4)
  • Phase sequence measurement by simply touching the conductors. (VDE 0413 Part 7)
  • Voltage measurement with low input impedance (LoZ).
  • Resistance and continuity check with buzzer.
  • Voltage: DC, AC TRMS, AC+DC TRMS up to 1000V.
  • Frequency of voltage and/or current.
  • MAX/MIN/PEAK/HOLD functions.
  • Precise display with 10,000 points.
  • Autorange measurements with automatic AC/DC detection.
  • Determination of the polarization index (PI) & dielectric absorption ratio (DAR).
  • DC, AC TRMS, AC+DC TRMS Current up to 3000A using an external converter.
  • Leakage current with optional current transformer (HT96U).
  • Inrush currents of electric motors (Dynamic InRush Current)
  • Current and Voltage Harmonics & THD (%) Total Distortion
