The measurement strengths of the DC source GPP-2323 from GW Instek lie in the high resolution (setting 1 mV / 0.1 mA and readback 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA), in the optimal residual ripple (max. 350 µVrms / 2 mArms) and particularly fast settling behavior (max. 50 µs). The large 4.3-inch display allows optimal monitoring of the measuring processes and offers clear display modes for the device settings, measured values and output functions.
The monitor function of the GPP series enables the user to define control conditions for a measurement process. An alarm and cancel function reliably protect your DUT from damage. With the sequence function, both the output signal shape can be determined and the sequential power output can be set in constant current (CC) or constant voltage (CV) mode, e.g. B. for dynamic load simulation. Eight preset curve functions for sine, pulse, rectangle, ramp, stairs up / down / up-down and exponential decrease make the setting easier for you. The commands of the GPP series comply with the SCPI requirements and are compatible with the commands of the GPD-X303S series.
The intelligent tracking function of the DC power source GPP-2323 supports the automated series and parallel operation of channels 1 and 2 without further cabling. This guarantees you not only a particularly convenient device operation, but also a more stable power output of up to 64 V and 6 A compared to parallel and series connection with external wires.
Channels 1 and 2 are also equipped with a load function: With just a single power supply unit, you can use one channel for power delivery and simultaneously use the second channel to turn the device into an electronic load that absorbs the power of the DUT. In this way, you can, for example, meet the basic test requirements for battery charge and discharge tests.
