Description
AFG-3081 | Function generator, 1-channel 80 MHz, 10Vpp, arbitrary, USB, RS232, GPIB
The AFG3000 arbitrary generator series from GW Instek is designed for the development and research area as well as for the training area as well as for industrial use in production or service.
This series offers a high signal resolution of 16 bits with a signal read rate of 200 MSa / s from a 1 M-point memory. The editing of application-specific curve shapes takes place via an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface.
The “Direct Waveform Reconstruction” (DWR / Direct Waveform Reconstruction) enables users to transfer waveforms recorded by a GW in-house oscilloscope of the GDS-2000 series via the USB interface directly into the arbitrary generators of the AFG-3000 series. The signals can still be edited to increase the measurement effectiveness.
The output impedance of the generators can be switched between 50 Ω and high-impedance. All current signal parameters and the output signal form are shown on the integrated high-resolution TFT-LCD display. The USB, RS232 and GPIB interfaces allow the user to change the signal forms, by using PC software or by using IEEE488.2 commands. An integrated help function makes handling the device easier.
