Description
AFG-2225 | Function generator, 2-channel 25 MHz, 10Vpp, arbitrary, modulation, USB
This two-channel AFG2225 arbitrary function generator from GW Instek offers a whole range of advantages that generators from other manufacturers do not offer in this price range. The two channels have the same characteristics and specifications in order to be able to carry out dual-signal applications such as e.g. B. differential signal generation or IQ signaling. Of particular note is the price-performance ratio of this device and the large number of settings with which you can quickly and easily generate complex signals in development or for the production test field.
The main specifications are an output voltage of 10 Vpp for both channels, a frequency range of 25 MHz with a resolution of 1 μHz, callable functions such as sine, triangle, ramp function and noise. Due to the large adjustable duty cycle for square-wave pulses from 1% to 99%, this generator is also suitable as a pulse signal source. For the arbitrary function, the user can choose from 66 integrated functions or change them, or he generates a signal that is very specific to his application. In addition, very different modulations can be carried out with the arbitrary generator, e.g. B. AM, FM, PM, FSK, SUM. Of course, it also offers sweep and burst along with an integrated frequency counter. It is therefore suitable for use in the field of communication.
The colored graphical interface with a diagonal of 8.9 cm not only shows the comprehensive settings for the respective functions but also the curve shape as it is available at the device output. The USB interface enables the device to be integrated with others in a measuring system.
The generator output signals can be edited using the arbitrary PC software and then loaded directly into the AFG-2225 generator or via a flash memory.
