With METRAwin90-F, an IEEE-488 interface in the PC and a calibrator Fluke 5500A, 5520A or 5700A, a universal, professional, automatically working "closed loop" calibration system can be put together for the multimeters of the METRAHit series.
However, it is also suitable for universal use for calibrating analog and digital multimeters, recording devices, power meters, power transmitters, amplifier modules, converters, etc.
The calibration procedures are created using METRAwin90-F. The analog default values are transferred from the PC with the IEEE 488 interface to the calibrator and fed into the calibration object from its analog output. For the automatic transfer of the measurement results from the METRAHit multimeter to the computer, a BD232 adapter is connected to it via an RS232 cable. In the case of transmitters, the analog output value of the calibration object is measured by a METRAHit multimeter and fed back to the PC for evaluation via the interface. If the measurement result is within the specified tolerances, the subsequent calibration step is automatically generated until the complete procedure is completed step by step.
