Dirty endfaces are one of the most common causes of problems and downtime in singlemode and multimode fiber optic systems. The FiberInspector FI-500 helps you to solve this problem by making the entire inspection easier for you.

The FI-500 works on a simple system: plug the cable to be inspected into the FI-500 and touch the AF button. Within a few seconds, the fiber endface becomes crisp and clear. Then you have a choice: With the freeze function you can freeze the image if it is necessary for the inspection. Otherwise, you can follow the process continuously using autofocus.

The built-in PortBright light helps you find the right endface. The probe also fits in tight places and the simple operation makes it easier for you to use it in difficult conditions, such as at night. The AutoFocus allow you to generate a high quality image of the end face in seconds.

The FI-500 was developed to bridge the gap between a fully automatic inspection device and a manual endoscope. The advantage for you: the device expands the functions of a manual inspection device, so that troubleshooting and inspection time are reduced.

The ease of use is particularly evident in situations where the cable you are looking for is not immediately apparent. The device shines especially when there is a high density of glass fibers. Comfort and benefit are the focus here - so that you can do your work effectively and efficiently.
