The Fluke SMFT-1000 is the complete solution for testing the performance and safety of PV systems and for faster report generation. The PV power analyzer is the ideal companion for PV professionals providing installation, commissioning and maintenance services.
The multifunctional PV power analyzer lets you verify that PV systems are performing optimally and safely. The SMFT-1000 was developed for PV experts who install, commission and maintain systems with up to 1,000 V DC. The SMFT-1000 meets the requirements of the IEC/EN 62446-1 standard and the Fluke TruTest software makes it easy to import, organize and analyze measurement data from installation and commissioning tests on solar systems. This makes it easy to create reports without having to take a laptop to the site. The optimized and simplified workflows save you noticeable time in the field and for documentation.
The Fluke SMFT-1000 is also available as a PRO kit including Advanced TruTest software and test lead set with MC4 connectors.

Complete safety test according to IEC/EN 62446-1 Part 1:
- Resistance of protective conductor (RLO)
- Voltage at circuit interruption, including polarity (VOC)
- Short-circuit current (ISC) or operating current with current clamp
- Resistance of insulation (RINS)
Variability and system performance test (measurement of I-V characteristic for solar modules/strings) - IEC 62446-1 Part 2:
- Recording of I-V curves and associated software for analysis, reporting and certification, includes the I-V curve analysis and reporting functions

- Testing of surge protection devices
- AC/DC voltage measurement via 4 mm sockets - functional test by voltage measurement up to 700 V true effective (for sinusoidal voltage up to 60 Hz) and 1,000 V DC. The measurement of the AC voltage and AC current refers to the frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz (sinusoidal voltage).
- AC/DC current measurement - functional test by current measurement with current clamp up to 100 A AC/DC
- Measurement of the module's bypass diode when covered or in the dark
