The Fluke PQ400 control cabinet bushing for electrical measurements is a permanently installed interface that gives technicians quick access to electrical control cabinets for power quality and energy measurements. PQ400 installs with a standard step drill and an electro-hydraulic hole punch (114.3mm / 4.5 "diameter) and allows the user to make three-phase voltage, current, neutral and protective earth connections for most measurement configurations.
After installation, the user can simply unlock the cover of the switch cabinet bushing, lift the cover and connect the voltage measuring lines of the power logger or analyzer. Then the test leads for the current sensors can be connected and measurements can be started. As soon as the measurements have been completed, only the measuring lines have to be removed from the voltage and current connections of the sockets on the switch cabinet bushing and the window cover closed. The internal connections remain ready for future measurements.
