The rotating field direction indicator 9040 is ideal for determining the phase rotation direction in all areas in which three-phase power supplies are used to feed motors, drives and electrical systems. The device shows the three phases and the phase rotation direction via an LCD display, so that it can be determined whether the connections are correct. It enables the rotating field direction to be determined quickly and has a voltage (up to 700 V) and frequency range that is suitable for both commercial and industrial applications. The measuring tips included in the scope of delivery have a variable clamping area and thus enable safe contact even with industrial sockets
