66205 | Power meter, 1-channel, 75 mW to 18 kW

Power meter for development and test field for power measurement and analysis of the most important parameters in AC devices according to IEC62301 / Energy Star.

With this 66205 power meter from Chroma, power, inrush currents and harmonics can be measured very precisely in addition to the other specific change parameters that are necessary for the qualification of a device. The measurements meet the standard IEC 62301 / EN50564. This power analyzer offers a wide input range, especially in the lower power ranges. The smallest current range is 5 mA, the largest 30 A, selectable in 10 current measuring ranges. The input voltage range extends from 15 Vrms to 600Vrms. The measuring device automatically selects one of the 6 measuring ranges. The input voltage to be measured can optionally be expanded up to 1.2 kV. In the lower measuring range, the accuracy is approx. 0.05% for the power measurement, which can be measured from 75 mW to 18 kW in 60 measuring ranges. The power meter thus fulfills the requirements of the standard: "Electrical and electronic Household and Office Equipment - Measurement of low Power Consumption" IEC62301 / EN50564.

It should be emphasized that harmonics up to the 100th order can be recorded. The frequency resolution is 5 Hz. The 66205 power meter thus complies with the IEC 61000-4-7 standard "Test and measurement methods - General guidelines for methods and devices for measuring harmonics and harmonics in power supply networks and connected devices".

As standard, the device is equipped with GPIB, USB, RS232 interfaces (optional LAN).

The area of application lies in the development and, using the I / O port, also in the automated test in production and in quality assurance.
