The programmable, electronic high-performance load of the 63200A series is characterized by its particularly fast load control mechanisms. The high-performance load (electronic resistance for load simulation) is ideally suited for testing a variety of electronic high-end products: from server power supplies, A / D power supplies, batteries / rechargeable batteries and energy storage systems, EV / EVSE (Electronic Vehicle / Electronic Vehicle Supply Equipment / Electric vehicles / electric vehicle power equipment), solar power elements and many other power electronics.
The device always guarantees reliable measurement results thanks to its high measuring accuracy for voltage (0.015% + 0.015% FS) and current (0.04% + 0.04% FS). The intelligent master / slave technology enables several loads to be connected in parallel in order to obtain the required load current. All loads of the Chroma 63200 series can be installed in a 41 U standard rack.
In addition to the standard control modes constant current (CC), resistance (CR), voltage (CV) and the more complex control modes CR + CC, CR + CV and CC + CV, the load also accepts data from data acquisition cards (DAQ cards), Analog signals from function generators and application-specific curves (User Defined Waveforms UDW).
Of course, the electronic load offers overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection. Overheat protection and a reverse polarity alarm.
The load can be controlled via USB, Ethernet or GPIB. 255 memory locations enable quick and easy access to device settings and simulations. Operation of the device is made significantly easier thanks to the symbols used for the basic and extended functions.
