Manufacturer number: P01157702

Chauvin Arnoux P01157702 | DTR 8510 Digital turn ratio tester for transformers.

  • Conversion ratio: from 0.8000: 1 to 8000: 1 (voltage and power converter) and from 0.8000 to 1000.0 (current transformer) - automatic measuring range selection
  • Tests are carried out to protect the operator by exciting the primary circuit while simultaneously measuring the secondary circuit
  • Warning messages for bad connections, reverse polarity, open circles or short circuits
  • Digital display - display of reports, winding polarity - deviation from the nominal values in percent and excitation current. The bar graph shows the progress of the self-calibration and the measurements
  • Storage of up to 10,000 measured values in the internal memory
  • USB interface and the included DataView software for configuring the device, transferring and analyzing the measured values and creating test reports
  • Power is supplied by NiMH batteries (10 hours of continuous battery operation) with an external charger
  • Degree of protection: IP53
  • Installation category: IEC 61010 CAT IV 50 V
  • Dimensions: 272 x 248 x 130 mm; Weight: 3.7 kg

Description

P01157702 | DTR 8510 transformer winding tester

The Chauvin Arnoux DTR 8510 is a portable, digital turn ratio tester for testing power, voltage and current transformers.

After connection to the currentless transformer, the DTR 8510 shows with high accuracy the number of turns ratio between the primary and secondary circuit and at the same time the polarity of the turns and the excitation current used.

The tests with the DTR 8510 run completely automatically according to a test procedure that meets the IEEE standard. Previous calibrations or adjustments are not necessary.

During the measurement, the DTR 8510 carries out an automatic self-calibration and checks:

  • Windings, connections and circuits
  • Short circuits (excitation current too high)
  • the connection of the measuring line
  • the polarity
