The DM301 module is a highly versatile 20-channel multiplexer with an additional two dedicated current channels for the modular DAQ3120 data logging system from B&K Precision. Thanks to robust armature relays, this module is suitable for a wide range of demanding measurement applications with up to 300 V input voltage and 1 A current - without the use of external shunts.
The DM301 module is particularly suitable for applications where both voltage and current measurements are required in a compact setup. Typical applications include:
- Product development and testing
- Quality assurance and end-of-line testing
- Long-term monitoring of electrical parameters
- Temperature measurement in combination with current/voltage analysis
Product features:
- 20 input channels + 2 current measurement channels (up to 1 A each)
- Scan rate: up to 80 channels per second
- Maximum input voltage: 300 V
- 2- and 4-wire measurements can be combined
- Isolated channels organized in two banks
- Supports many signal types including thermocouple, RTD, thermocouple and thermocouple. Thermocouple, RTD, thermistor, voltage, current, resistance and capacitance
- Integrated cold junction compensation for thermocouples
Compared to other modules in the series, the DM301 offers the greatest measurement versatility: it combines voltage, current and temperature measurement in a single module. In contrast to the DM300, which is characterized by its high speed (up to 450 ch/s), the DM301 offers broader signal coverage at a moderate scan rate (80 ch/s). The DM303 is aimed at users with high channel requirements (40 inputs), while the DM304 with its 4x8 matrix solution is particularly suitable for complex switching applications. The DM309 is the first choice for high-voltage and high-current measurements - with up to 600 VDC / 2 A.
